Slutz - Haven

Haven, the oldest son of Rev. WB Slutz and wife and grandson of Silas Peterson was buried in the Peterson Cemetery last Monday. Haven was a bright beautiful boy of five summers and died at their home in Carthage, Mo last Friday. The bereaved parents have the sympathy of the entire community – source: same - -quite a number came down from Frankfort Monday and drover over to Silas Peterson’s to offer their sympathy to their old pastor and wife. George Seybold and family of Waveland visited John Peterson’s Saturday night. They were on their way to attend the funeral of Haven Slutz.

Haven, the four year old son of Rev. W. B. Slutz and wife, of Carthage, Mo., died Sunday. The remains will be brought to Kirkpatrick for interment, that being the home of Silas Peterson, the father of Mrs. Slutz.
